Let me start this blog post with a confession…I love red wine.

Well, at least I think I do, until the morning after a few glasses/bottle and then it’s headache inducing powers remind me that perhaps there can be too much of a good thing.

Anyway, my love of red wine can now be indulged in a whole new way with fashionable leanings towards all things shiraz, merlot, malbec, pinot noir and cabernet sauvignon and the best thing is that though my purse may not thank me, my head will remain clear!

The gorgeous, rich tones of red will look amazing teamed with purple, black and gold for a luxurious, sensual look that is perfect for Autumn. The heavy colours also make it very easy to mix and match fabrics and textures. Don’t be afraid to pair leather with velvet, brocade with denim.
